"Objectified." Reponse

     

    After watching Objectified. I felt I had more of an overall understanding of how form, functionality and simplicity play an important role in design as we know it today. I designed this Ergonomic jar with the intentions of expanding my limited knowledge of computer aided design, but in the process I kept the three elements of design I mentioned in mind. I placed the grips on top of the lid and the grips at the bottom of the jar opposite of each other with the idea that it would maximize torque. I think it would be interesting to create a prototype of this to see how effective it actually is.

I'm happy with the final outcome of this anyone-can-open jar, and I'm excited to learn more about CAD!
