Papercraft: Revisions
The main thing I took from my in-class critique was that my ship design itself was interesting, but that the way it came together could be improved in order to clean up craftsmanship as well as make the overall design more seamless.
Therefore, I started by redesigning the way components would come together in order to simplify construction and also make the design more sturdy.

Redesigned version:
I think I redesigned the ship in such a way that it was indeed much easier to put together and I think it definitely came out cleaner then the first draft.
I also added a small tab on the bottom after taking this picture, which the ship can be held by.
However I continued to find ways that my design would be benefited by slight modifications whilst I constructed this version. I think the biggest thing was that next time my design should avoid multiple tabs that fold in on each other, as these are the least attractive means of attachment and also one of the least sturdy means that I had on my ship.
I really wish I had more time in order to make further improvements and add to it but I learned a lot and would love to do something like this again.
